Commissioning a pet portrait is a pretty simple straightforward process! Simply select a high-quality photo or multiple photos of your beloved pet and email them to me at t.j.bailey@baileypetportraits.com. Feel free to send as many photos as you'd like to ensure you have plenty to choose from. For tips on capturing the perfect shot, don't forget to check out the Photography tips page on my website!
Once you have decided to have a portrait of your furry family member, and you wish to begin the process, I will then request a 50% non-refundable down payment. At that point, we can further discuss your ideas and what you can expect from the portrait. We’ll also consider some aspects like background types and painting sizes, which you can explore further on my pricing and sizing page.
Once we finalize the cost and details, I will provide you with a timeline for when I will start your painting, along with an estimated completion date. If you have a specific deadline in mind, please let me know, and I'll do my best to accommodate your request. For special occasions like birthdays or Christmas, I recommend placing your order well in advance to ensure timely delivery.
